I just wanted to let everyone know that the first day was a success and a lot of fun!
Everyone seemed to have had a good time and enjoyed each others company. Kaitlyn and LeAnna were a big help too!Today we learned the 3 R's of Recycling, we answered a "Question of the Day" in our journals, we made bird feeders out of a recyclable product, we painted cups (BPA free) which we will use at lunch (thought I noticed a problem with the paint we used, so this will turn into another quick project tomorrow!), we made dirt (chocolate) and sand (vanilla) cups for dessert, we had yummy mini chocolate and banana muffins for snack, we ate Turkey and Ham Fruit Kebabs for lunch (that we made ourselves!), we created a story (as a group) with story cubes and had free time outside!
Wow....that was a lot!!!
